Cancel an order

It may be difficult to change or cancel an order once it's been in our system. We are proud of our efficient and speedy delivery times, and we may have the package ready to be shipped out by the time we receive the request asking for your order to be changed or cancelled. We do not have a guarantee that we can cancel or change an order; however if necessary just e-mail Customer Service: and we'll do our best to meet your needs.You can always return the items for refund or replacement, so don't be panic if you placed a wrong order.

C. Double basses/Double bass Cases/Large quantity orders

  Sea Container.Double basses, double bass cases and large quantity orders will be sent by sea container. It will take about 1-2 months to delivery. The goods will be sent to a sea port close to the receiver's address.The receivers are responsible to clear custom and get the goods from the sea port.


Any customs, taxes or import duties are your responsibility.  Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. The amount is determined by your country. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

Combine Shipping

We combine shipping for bows and parts. If they are shipped with instruments or cases, shipping fee can be free as long as they can fit in the case. Please contact us to request total.
I am sorry but we don't combine shipping for instruments. However, VIP members or our constant customers can also contact us to see if discount is available.

Items Lost in Posting

Delays in customs and severe weather will affect delivery dates.

  • Items shipped by EMS, please contact us if online tracking information don't change for five working days. Items are regarded as lost in one month after dispatch.
  • Items shipped by post office recorded air mail. Items are regarded as lost in 1.5monthes after dispatch.

We will send new items if parcel is lost in posting. But before that, please give enough time to investigate.



  • The instrument sound post may drop during the shipping, and buyers are responsible to set it up if it happens.
  • Your new violin will be dispatched to you with the bridge strings bow, case and everything you need to start to play. However the bridge is sent unfitted to avoid damage in transit. It is a very simple matter to slide the bridge under the strings and align it with the notches on the f holes before tuning the violin. The taller edge of the bridge fits under the thicker strings. (The "D'' and the ''G'' strings)

  • Items are shipped from Shanghai.
  • All in stock orders will be sent in the following 1-2working days after payments are received.
  • For customized orders or non in stock orders, we will email you the estimated date of order completion.Orders may be delayed by unexpected issues, so please give enough time to prepare the order.
  • If the order is traceable, a tracking number will be sent to the buyer's email address in 1-2days after items are dispatched.Buyers are required to track the status of the items online. It can ensure fast and correct delivery because sometimes shipping company may make mistake. If unusual delivery situation can be spotted early, thus the buyers or us can contact shipping agent to solve the problems.

  • All delivery times are business days - Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, weekends. Customs, severe weather and posting delay will affect shipping delivery dates. We have no control over the exact delivery time.

Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Yitamusic Products, your satisfaction is our TOP priority. We stand by our products, and will exchange or return a damaged or defective product to ensure your complete satisfaction.

Return or exchange a product if it's not defective?

  • All merchandise purchased from Yitamusic Products has an unconditional guarantee from the date of purchase and can be returned for refund or exchange within 30 days of product purchase. Strings need to be returned unopened.
  • You will receive a full credit or refund (we do not charge a restocking fee) for the price you paid for all the items returned.
  • Our shipping and handling charges and the cost of shipment back to our company are all not refundable.
  • To obtain a full credit or refund, the goods must be in the same condition as when purchased and must shipped back in the original packaging or a restocking fee will apply. Products sent back for replacement or refund must be returned within 30 days of original product receipt.
  • Please notify us before you return any items.

Return or exchange a product if it's defective or damaged?

  • All defective merchandise purchased from Yitamusic Products is returnable within 30 days of product purchase for replacement or refund. Defective items normally need to be returned to us; please do not throw the broken items away before you contact us.  
  • We prefer to be notified of problems with defects within seven (7) days of receipt. If the item is defective, we will either refund the item's cost to you or we will send out a free replacement.
  • If the item has broken after the 30-day period, we may still accept the return; we determine this on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us.
  • If your package should arrive damaged, contact us. We will be here to solve the problems by either offering a replacement or offering another solution.  For purposes of returning items back to us, please retain the original packing materials.   

If the problems with your purchases are not listed above, you would like us to review the case and see if we can accept the return or exchange, please contact us. It would help if you take some pictures of the problems and explain when and why the problems occurred. We will use this information to determine if we can send you a free replacement or accept returns.

String Returns:  Please inspect your strings immediately upon receipt. Unopened strings may only be returned within 30 days, so that we may supply all our customers with the freshest possible strings. Installed strings are not returnable, unless they break within the first 30 days after purchase. Because the tonal qualities of each instrument are unique, we cannot accept string returns for reasons of tone, including false strings.

Return Procedures
  • Please contact our Customer Service Department to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. Do not return any items without this number.
  • Please write the RMA number on the outside of the box you are shipping the item back in.
  • Enclose a note with the item about the order number, the reason for the return and what you would like in exchange for the item (choose refund or exchange).
  • Make sure that the items are adequately packed and padded so that they don't receive any damage in transit. If possible, reuse the shipping materials we utilized to send the product to you. Make sure that any of the original shipping labels on the outside of the box are crossed out or removed.
  • Request our return mailing address by email please.

Are there any special things to consider when packing and returning my items?

  •  When return an instrument, please takes off the bridge, wrap it and put in the case compartment. Maker sure the compartment is securely closed so the bridge doesn't come out to scratch the varnish. Put padding material under tailpiece.
  •  Any bows returned should be untightened.
